Only 700m (approx.) to facilities at Baffle Creek, those of you looking for something exceptional will love these 40 acres (16.29ha) which backs onto tidal Euleilah Creek with the added bonus of having a tidal creek meandering well into the property with 3 boat ramps.
Many years ago, this property was the very popular Baffle Creek Campstay and it is still set up much the same. Mains power is connected and accommodation consists of 2 air conditioned bedrooms located off the huge undercover kitchen & recreation area with slow combustion wood heater. Out front of this area is the fire pit
Close by is the amenities block with showers, toilets and laundry. There are two bunk houses and a couple of old permanent tents which also have easy access to the amenities block. Friends who come and want to camp or bring their caravans or camper trailers have a choice of a few powered sites, one with a high clearance open shed, ideal for a caravan. Total rainwater collection is approx. 10,000 gallons.
A short walk takes you down to one of the boat ramps on the lovely internal creek and is ideal for canoes/kayaks. There is a timber bridge that crosses this creek and old bushwalking tracks are easily identified and with a little work, could be once again used.
Ranging between 7m and 17m above sea level, the block has some fencing and a large dam. A pump on the dam supplies water for outdoor use. There is a large, cleared area which would make a good paddock for horses and you can easily drive around the block, past the dam and the other two boat ramps down to Euleilah creek.
The property has bitumen road frontage and the mail is delivered 5 days a week. The local primary school is about 4km and children can catch the school bus to the high school in Rosedale. Telstra mobile reception is good.
Baffle Creek facilities include a general store with fuel, hardware & fishing supplies, post office, bar, bottle shop, take-away and golf club.
