Currently growing passion fruit, mangoes and limes as well as backgrounding steers on approximately 303.94 acres freehold and 5.68 acres of road lease. All the production area is under irrigation. Irrigated Rhodes grass is used for the backgrounding operation. The abundant water supply is from 200 mgl river water allocation and approximately 100 mgl from dams. Irrigation is easy to manage as it is well set up with pump and mains from river and pumps from the dams. The transfer pump at the river is capable of 25 to 30 thousand gallons per hour and pumps into the storage dams.

Passion fruit are picked for approximately 10 months of the year, with yields around 5 to 6 cartons per vine. The estimated 900 lime trees produce fruit from winter well into the spring. Approximately 1000 mango trees are a little neglected due to labour shortage, but are still healthy and able to become very productive.
The packing shed is situated behind the home with fruit washer, grading and packing system and a cold room. This equipment is not included in the sale but is open for negotiation. Another shed accommodates the workshop area.
Cattle production area is fully fenced into numerous paddocks with laneways to bring cattle to the timber yards. Yards are set up with a loading ramp and steel cattle crush. The pasture paddocks have underground mains with hydrants set up to operate a travelling irrigator. These paddocks could be utilised for more fruit production if cattle backgrounding was to be ceased.
This exciting property is far from its full potential as it is all cleared except for shade areas. Owners, wishing for a complete change after 27 years, are selling at a very reasonable price.
