Q – WHAT ARE THE BODY CORPORATE COSTS? (This property is in the Marina Apartments Body Corporate)
A -There are 5 Body Corporates on the Island.
Eco Cabins – Approx $11,000 per annum
Marina Apartments – Approx $14,000 – $15,000 per annum
Lagoon Lodges -Approx $17,000 per annum
Broadwater Villas – Approx $26,000 per annum
CBC – overseeing Body Corporate

Q -CAN I HAVE A DOG / PET?
A- No, Service dogs may have different rules – please refer to By Laws.

Q -HOW OLD ARE THE UNITS?
A- Couran Cove opened in 1998

Q- ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF BODY CORPORATE
Buyers MUST do their own due diligence and searches. There are multiple current court cases ongoing, and it is possible that such litigation could result in the issuance of a special levy.

As of the 17th April, there is a planned disruption to services due to alleged monies owing to the service provider Normally all power, gas, water is included in the Body Corporate Levies, however no information is available at this time as to how everything will be moving forward.

Q – ARE YOU PART OF THE RESORT?
A – The unit is privately owned the resort is currently closed including the Marina.

Q – HOW DO WE GET AROUND THE ISLAND?
A – There is no car access to Couran Cove. Bring your own bikes, or scooters. It is possible on under certain situations to obtain approval by the Body Corporate for a Golf Buggy.

Q- DO WE STILL HAVE TO PAY BODY CORPORATE FEES EVEN WITHOUT SERVICES PROVIDED?
A- Even without services, body corporate fees are still required to be paid as there are various expenses such as insurance, maintenance, legal expenses and body corporate management fees that need to be covered.
