Some people say that Hemingway Villas is the most attractive block of units in Noosa. Besides looking very Key West/Bermuda/French in design, it boasts an elevator and a lock up garage. The large pool at the rear on the west side is sunny for much of the day, but the big pool called the Noosa River is 140m away at the end of the street where there is a little convenience store. Each of the 8 apartments is named after a book written by Ernest Hemingway and unit 4′s name is “A Moveable Feast”. From the east facing terrace with its French paned doors opening to a private shuttered nook at one end to the lovely front entrance with its sunlight filled atrium flanked by garden, this building was developed by people with style. Most of the 8 units are owner occupied and there is no on site manager. Unit four has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, nicely separated from each other. The kitchen/living/dining area is spacious and has a v jointed ceiling and the French doors are repeated in the master bedroom which opens to the nook. Lovely cabinetry in the robes of the 2nd bedroom is panelled and mirrored, and the bathrooms are immaculate and classical in design. The lock up garage has an automatic door and the security gate is very quiet. Want to go to Hastings St? The ferry is 2 blocks away but why not make the flat walk for your health…it’s only about 20 mins to the beach and the delights of Hastings St after all!
