The Nishi Building in NewActon takes an alternative and progressive approach to achieving world class environmental performance. The design is configured to work as passively as possible using natural ventilation to cool the building and provide fresh air to occupants while reducing energy consumption. The building seeks to raise the bar in environmental design in Australia by setting a unique and vibrant example of sustainability in the heart of the national capital, Canberra.

Nishi is the headquarters for the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency, the legal firm Clayton Utz, State Plus, Servcorp and the Safe Work Authority. The ground floor has a wide a range of complementing tenants which includes Palace Cinemas, 96 room Hotel Hotel, conference space facilities, monster restaurant and Max Brenner.
