The House
Beautifully appointed. 4 large bedrooms. Huge wraparound balconies which enjoy sun all day long. Original 12 foot ornate ceilings, french doors opening out onto the verandahs.
Ideal for one or two families. Sleeps 10 – 12.
Originally said to be the Harbour Master’s house over looking Coffs Harbour it was a government house built at the turn of the last century (circa 1910). The wood used in building these dwellings was of the highest standard. You will see for your self how well the wood work has held up.

It features a BRAND NEW KITCHEN WITH DISHWASHER, MICROWAVE AND ALL THE MOD CONS – NEW BATHROOM – internal laundry – fans and fly screens in every room. All the wiring and plumbing has been replaced. The house is freshly painted from head to toe and is squeaky clean.

Arrawarra Headland
Step Back in time to a more gentle era. Find the perfect spot out of the wind or in the breeze, in the shade or in the sun. All the bedrooms open directly onto the covered verandahs. This historic building is loaded with old fashioned charm yet offers all the amenities of a brand new house.

Just a short stroll to three different beaches, this most unique home is situated on 2/3rds of an acre of level lawn and the National Park is your neighbour on two sides. Kangaroos and birdlife are plentiful. The sunsets and the tranquil views are a highlight.

Local Amenities
Arrawarra Headland is a small settlement of about 45 houses, no shops or traffic lights. It is about as peaceful as you can get yet is extremely close to all the action if you want it. Bikes are a great way to get around here. You can go for rides right into Woolgoolga.

Beaches and Surfing
You are only 130 metres away from Mullawarra Beach which is wonderful surf beach right at your door step.
You are 300 metres from Arrawarra Point, which is famous for its wonderful long waves ideal for long boards. It is very similar to beaches like Scotts Head, Byron and Noosa. an extremely safe place for children to learn the art of surfing and not too bad for the oldies either!! The crowds are not an issue here, there is very rarely a crowd. Quite often it can be just you and your family or friends sharing the point on your own.
Mullaway Beach is also only about 1 km bike ride or walk. This is another delightful surf beach.

Fishing
This area is a fisherman’s paradise. Fish off the beach or rocks for some great bream, whiting and flathead. If you have your own tinnie, you can launch a boat straight off the beach just 300 metres away. The Solitary Islands are just off the coast and produce loads of excellent fishing.

Mud crabbing is also very productive. Try a trip to one of the nearby creeks or rivers, Red Rock is only 10 minutes drive and you can launch into the Coorindi River and the crabbing is great. Do it at high tide for one of prettiest shows of crystal clear water that you will ever see.

Diving
There is a dive school here that operates every day, weather permitting. They take you to the reefs and islands off shore. It is very popular with travellers and is well worth a go if you are that way inclined. They can even teach beginners.

Shopping
The nearest shop is at Mullaway about 2.5kilometres. An easy bike ride for the kids. It is famous for its hamburgers and, vegieburgers and try the $2 serve of chips, more than you can eat!! Woolgoolga (Whoopi) is the nearest town, only 5 minutes away. It is a great little beach town and has two super markets, plus a bowling club, an RSL and a great Pub at the top of the hill. There are also several nice restaurants. Our favourite is the Aloy Thai but there are a lot Indian Seiks living here and the Indian food is very good as well.
Coffs Harbour is 25 minutes away by car. It is a city that offers everything you could desire.

Golf
The nearest golf course is Safety Beach, about 3 minutes by car. A really good 18 hole golf course which is owned by the local RSL Club. It is the home to about 1million kangaroos. Uncrowded, cheap and friendly., definitely worth a go.
If you are keen you could try Coffs Harbour 27 holes and Bonville. Both are championship courses.

Bike Hire
Bikes can be hired and brought to your door from Woolgoolga for about $10 per day. Just let us know and we will arrange it for you. (It is a lot cheaper than a Thredbo lift ticket!!) The kids and adults love the flat, safe terrain. There is no better way to get around.
