Just moved into a 2 bedroom and 1 bathroom apartment located in Coogee. The apartment is around 75sqm and is fully furnished (currently getting everything delivered so for now it’s still work in progress). It is located ground floor and has a large courtyard for entertainment. It also has a separate entrance and an internal laundry.
The street is quiet with not much traffic and so far the building has been relatively quiet.
The apartment has been recently refurbished with floorboard in all rooms, a brand new bathroom with separate shower and bath and a brand new kitchen. Kitchen is well equipped with the following appliances: dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, blender, kitchen aid and juicer. The place has great storage.
There is also a car space and storage in the secure garage so large items and bikes can be stored. I’m currently using the garage for my car but happy to share. There is plenty of parking off the street and the building also has visitor car park.
Your room: approximately 10 sqm with a good size built-in-wardrobe, queen size bed, desk and chair, bookshelf and bedside table.
It’s a great location – walking distances:
- 10 min from the beach;
- 5 min to the bus stop (located at the corner Carr St / Mount St) to the city (373, X73 and
M50) and Bondi Junction (313 and 314);
- 7 min from restaurants/cafes on Coogee Bay Road; and
- 10 min from the Spot in Randwick.
A little bit about me:
I’ve been in Australia since 2008 and I’ve always lived in the Eastern suburbs… Elizabeth Bay, Darlinghurst, Bondi and now Coogee. Been living in Bondi for the past 4 years at first in a shared house with 3 peeps which was good fun and then sharing a 2 BDR…so I’m used to share and I found some great friendships on the way.
Decided a couple of months back that I needed a bit of change so here I am…
I’m in my early 30s and work in the city (weekdays only), I tend to work a bit late or go to the gym after work so I’m generally not home before 8.30/9pm. I’m generally out and about on the week-ends, playing tennis, going for a ride on my mountain bike, going to the beach and catching up with friends. I am easy going and quite social and go out regularly but also enjoy spending time at home with a nice meal (I like to cook and I make great French deserts) and a glass of wine.

I’m looking for a clean, friendly, fun and considerate flatmate. Male or female, no preference but no couples. Age: 25-35 and non-smoker.
Details:
- Room is available starting on the 22nd of April 2014.
- Rent is $330 + around $30/week for bills (electricity, ADSL and general house expenses – if any extra upon departure, this will be refunded). I used to have cleaners coming on a fortnightly basis ($20 additional charges per week) but this will be a household decision.
- Length: flexible.
- Bond: $1,200 – to be discussed depending on the length of your stay
- 2 weeks rent to be paid in advance to secure the place.
- Rent can be paid weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Will provide you with notices of payment for your records. I’m prepared to be a little bit flexible on the rent for an outstanding flatmate.
