The apartment: Modern and comfortable two-bedroom apartment in a great spot close to Centennial and Queens Parks. Located on the first floor of a secure block of 12 the apartment faces a quiet street with ample untimed parking (undercover scatter parking is also available). The apartment itself is airy with sunny bedrooms timber floors an open plan dining/living area modern gas kitchen a somewhat dated but serviceable bathroom a small balcony and an internal laundry with washer and dryer. Please note that most of the furniture in the lounge and dining rooms in the pictures will be going (except the piano and tv stand) and will be replaced with others. If you have any lounge/dining furniture youd like to bring with you Im sure they can be accommodated. For any bulky items like sporting equipment (bike surfboard etc.) or for other items that you dont need to use on a regular basis there is some space for secure storage downstairs. The room: The bedroom is unfurnished and measures approximately 3.6 x 3.1 metres including the built in wardrobe (which has double hanging shelves and drawers). While not a huge room the person currently in the room has a double bed bookshelf next to the bed and another two facing the bed and a dining table turned desk without looking or feeling cramped. The room leads out onto a small private balcony of about 1.6 x 3 metres and has a lot of natural light through a large window.Me: Im a 31 year old easygoing and social professional in the process of a career change. Which means I work full-time and study part-time so when you throw a semi-regular exercise routine and a bit of a social life into the mix Im not home all that often. I keep things pretty quiet during the week and will have the occasional social gathering at home but the apartment isnt really suited to entertaining more than a few people at once. You: In a nutshell – house-trained easygoing psychologically/financially stable and pays rent and bills on time. Im looking to live with someone that doesnt mind a chat and the occasional shared meal or night out but has their own life to live. I would also like to find someone who keeps things low-key during the week and doesnt turn the place into party central on a weekend. I clean up after myself and keep the common areas tidy and would like someone who does the same. The details: The room is $240 week plus bills. Bills are phone/internet at $35/month and gas and electricity at around $120/quarter. Bond is four weeks rent so $960.Please note you will need to be willing to co-sign a new 12 month lease and have your name added to the bond. You dont have to stay the full 12 months but at least 6 months would be appreciated. No couples.
