We are 15 minutes by bus from the city [Queen Victoria Building] and the service is every 20 minutes-the bus terminates only 50 metres from our front door so its very convenient! You can also catch a 10-minute trip by ferry to Circular Quay from either Longnose Point [Yurulbin] or Thames Street Wharf. This is the best way to visit the Sydney Opera House, or the historic Rocks precinct, or the Museum of Contemporary Art.

Sydney University is two short bus trips away, while UTS [University of Technology Sydney] and Notre Dame University is an easy 1.5km walk from the QVB[Queen Victoria Building] which is the terminus of our 441 local bus.

The Balmain/ Birchgrove area is a lively shopping area,with a somewhat bohemian history, with coffee shops, bookshops and markets.It historically was an industrial waterfront area which has been gentrified because of its convenient location close to the city.
