Other information: A good sized room, I recon it can take a Queen sized bed. Your room is empty so its a blank canvass to furnish. You’ll need your own cupboard etc. It has a large window so its nice and light – but private at the same time.

Hi, my name is Derrick and I work in marketing. I work pretty regular hours (9am-6pm Mon – Fri) in the city. Weekends I’m usually out and about with family or friends. I like camping, indoor rock climbing, meditation and the occasional big night. I’m not a great cook but I can follow a recipe…..its probably lucky I eat out a fair bit! I’m sociable and out outgoing and love meeting new people and checking new places out. Every so often quiet time is great too though.

I’d like a down to earth housemate that treats me the way I’ll treat them. I’m looking for a sociable housemate who is respectful of others’ space. Communciation is great because it saves guessing so if you are happy to talk about ‘stuff’ we’ll get on. We all like to feel comfortable and at home where we live, so while I am more tidy than clean, I’d prefer housemates that also clean something after they have spilled it, take the rubbish out when its full etc. I dont mind cleaning rosters if it means we both share the responsibility. Oh and I’d prefer a housemate that has a full time job and doesn’t work from home please.
