Prospective tenants must meet the eligibility criteria and have a registration letter from the Department of Communities by registering at www.nras.communities.qld.gov.au

You will need to be ready to move in once unconditionally approved by NRAS and accepted by the landlord.
You will be required to produce evidence of income (wage payslips, latest Notice of Tax Assessment, bank statements and other assets) for all adult persons who will live in the property.
Photo ID is mandatory a valid, current Australian driver’s licence and passport, for ALL applicants who will live in the household.
The initial lease is for six months, maximum. Renewed leases can be for a longer period, by agreement.
One application must be completed by every adult person that will be living in the property.
Priority is given to those people who have already obtained and can show evidence of their NRAS Registration number.
There are restrictions on the number of people who can live in the property.
