Burpengary is 35km north of Brisbane’s CBD, in the Moreton Bay Region local government area.
Burpengary has a population of almost 9000 and is one of the region’s fastest growing residential areas.
There are three primary schools – Burpengary State School, St Eugene College and Burpengary Meadows State School. Burpengary falls within the catchment area of Narangba Valley State High School. In 2008 Burpengary’s first high school, St Eugene College, was opened.
