Russell Island is half way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast (about 1 hour away). The waterbus runs every half hour from Redland Bay and starts at 5.00 AM and finishes each night at 12.00 pm. Good shops and large Supermarket. RSL, Bowls Club, Doctor Chemist and Police station on the island.
