Hi there I’m looking for a roommate to live with in a two bedroom Queenslander that I am currently renting in Paddington. It is cozy, has timber floors throughout and is high-set. The house is quite small so whoever moves in I will really need to click well with, so don’t be too put off by my requests below and how picky I may seem!

- Please be gay or very gay-friendly

- Please be mature and responsible (i.e. no crazy parties or noisy late guests on a weeknight)

- Please be relatively tidy and be willing to help clean the common areas every couple of weeks

- Please be open-minded and definitely not racist, homophobic, transphobic, misogynist, etc. (any of the bad -ists or -ics)

- I have furniture in the common areas so if you only have bedroom furniture that is fine. There is a built-in wardrobe in the room also.

- There is no driveway or space for a car except on the road, so if you have a car you would need to obtain a permit from the council for game nights at the stadium so you don’t get a fine!

- Please pay bond equal to two weeks rent ($390)

- Your plus one can stay a few nights a week, but not excessively

- I have wi-fi internet access. If you wish to use it rent would be $5.00 extra per week ($20 month. 33% of the monthly bill).

About me: I’m a 26 year old gay male and a full-time worker in the CBD. I’m a musician so expect music to come from my room from time to time :). My weeknights are generally low key but occasionally I will have guests over for dinner but they never stay too late due to work. I’m a smoker and enjoy a beverage or two on the balcony every so often. I’m quiet but tend to open up once you get to know me, and by then I am more than happy to discuss anything with you over a beverage or two

About you: Ideally, I’d like to live with a responsible professional gay/queer male around my age or older with a steady income. Someone willing to build a friendship so that the living situation is comfortable. I would be willing to move in with a girl or straight man if you seem like the right person :).
