Hi! I have just moved into a 2 bed 2 bath apartment in the H2O building and have a spare unfurnished bedroom available. The apartment is otherwise fully furnished and very modern.
The place is on the fourth floor, air-conditioned, with a relaxing view of the broadwater and huge balcony to enjoy it from. The complex itself is very secure and has a great gym, pool, and outside BBQ area. There are also several restaurants and a convenience store underneath the building and Australia Fair and the ‘main’ part of Southport are only a short walk away.
The place is wired for Telstra Velocity (fibre optics) so the internet here is super fast!
About me personally: I’m a 29 y.o professional female and I’ve recently moved to the GC (though kinda grew up here).
I guess everyone seems to say on these things that they’re easy to live with and pretty quiet during the week… but ditto. I’m clean, but not pedantically so, respectful, have a sense of humour etc. I work long-ish hours and do sometimes have to bring work home, but I am a pretty social person in my downtime (read: talkative and like to get out of the house or have a couple of friends over for a wine sometimes, not ‘throws wild parties’).
I’d love to find the type of flatmate like I’ve been lucky enough to have before – someone honest and easy to live with and who I get along well enough with that we could have a drink and chat together after a long day.
Must be a non-smoker sorry. Ideally you would also be a 25-35 yo professional or work normal (ish) hours, but neither is really required.
The place technically only comes with one car park (which I am claiming) but I’ve found a neighbour who has a spare they would rent out for $20 a week if you need one. Although that may be negotiable or I might yet hear back from someone else.
I can’t say what all the bills cost yet, but would be expecting they’d be evenly split. I should mention the room is $195 a week too – they do some strange maths on here. Unfortunately you couldn’t go onto the lease yet, but there would be that option in about 6 months. You would need to be approved as an occupant though by the onsite managers.
Ok I think that covers it. Let me know if you think you might be interested or want any more info.
Thanks!
