My (our!) home is fully renovated fresh and bright with all furnishings and an eclectic mix of things from my travels and work adding a cosy and relaxed charm. My current flatmates have just married and now want to find their own home. There is a small and a large room (the latter with a large built-in robe). Im currently in the small room but am happy to move if you want the smaller room (less rent). I can provide all furniture for the bedroom too or you can bring your own its up to you. All you really need to bring is your bright (or dark) sense of humour!A bakery newsagent fast food outlets (if youre into those ghastly places) the tram train bus and public swimming pool are all within a 5 minute walk. The CBD is 30 minutes away on foot. The street is quiet and established with plenty of big trees and parking around and the apartment is very secure within a locked gate compound.Im a marine mammal biologist (sea lions and dolphins) and spend much of my time in the field. Im pretty quite when home but like to cook and watch the occasional movie with friends. Will mostly be working or out and about. Im not one for just sitting around and my work is pretty much my life. The apartment would suit a mature minded easygoing sociable and independent person with a keen wit and broad sense of humour that doesnt write their name on their food. Would also be handy if you can work out when its time to use a vacuum cleaner or do the dishes without needing to be asked. This is a home not a house to live in so the person i would like to share with would think and act accordingly. I dont want someone who prefers to lock themselves in their own room nor someone who communicates with monosyllabic grunts. Rather someone who is relaxed and motivated who feels comfortable and at ease with themselves.
