Tranquillity features five bedrooms, sleeps 10, up-to-the-minute kitchen, ultramodern bathrooms including double shower and spa, two separate living areas.

Carrickalinga is 80 minutes south of Adelaide in South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula.
Tranquillity sits in a commanding position on a hillside within the tiny township of Carrickalinga, adjoining Normanville. The balcony has unrestricted views one of southern Fleurieus most popular beaches. The house looks both south-west down St Vincent Gulf past the massed cliffs of Lady Bay, and west across the Gulf (for striking sunsets).
Carrickalinga township community puts such a high value on tranquillity that there are no shops in the township (Normanville shops are only 2 Kms away). It follows that the coast and beach are very unspoiled.

Local activities
This is a striking stretch of coastline where the rounded hills of the Fleurieu Peninsula plunge down to the sea. The township is squeezed between the hillside and the pristine dunes.
The beach is strikingly clean with clear water and fine white-yellow sand. It is usually quite safe for children, and popular with families. There is often a light surf when a swell enters the gulf from the open ocean.
There is access to beach walks short or long. A stroll past huge dunes for a coffee at the Normanville beach cafe. Or extensive cliff-top rambles to either Myponga in one direction, or to Second Valley in the other. The road-side sealed walking path to Normanville doubles as a safe bike trail also.

Golf and fishing
A leisurely 5 minutes away is the Links Lady Bay, a true links style golf course. http://www.linksladybay.com/
Fishing and diving are very popular local pastimes.
Tranquil Retreat is a unique house in touch with the natural beauty of Carrickalinga. We hope you will choose to holiday in this tranquil and beautiful region.
