Located at the southern extension of the Bay of Fires and fifteen minutes from the Game Fishing Capital of Tasmania, St Helens, this spacious, solid brick holiday house on three levels has stunning water and tree views from all three levels, east to Skeleton Bay and Humbug Point and beyond to the Tasman Sea and Pacific Ocean. There is a direct access track to the beach at Skeleton Bay.
‘Whale Watch House’ has a large ‘al fresco’ living/dining deck with stainless steel railings and rigging enhancing the views and complementing the ‘beach/tree house’ atmosphere. The house sleeps 8-10 with the main bedroom having a quality queen size bed and two single beds in the studio/loft. The lower level comprises a double bedroom as well as two single beds and four folding beds in the downstairs living areas. There is a unique entry foyer, living and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen including microwave and wall oven (kitchenette on the lower level). There are two bathrooms, one on the main level and one on the lower level as well as laundry facilities on the lower level. The house is fully equipped, but tenants need to supply their own linen and doonas (blankets and pillows are supplied).
Comfortable couches, wool carpeting, a freestanding open fire (wood supplied), electric heating, ‘free to air’ digital TV and insect screening complete holiday living at its best. There is also a wood fired barbecue in a natural garden setting. Garaging for one car, and parking is available for a least two cars.
