The compact room comes complete with a comfortable double bed ensemble bed side drawer/lamp table built in wardrobe and book shelf panel heater and has a TV socket. Included in the rent are unlimited night time phone calls to landlines in Australia broadband wireless Internet access + plenty of summer and autumn organically grown fruit vegetables and herbs from the backyard. Electricity is extra shared with 2 other housemates. Over winter this amounts to around $2 a day each but is much less over the milder months. The house is very close to the Hobart CBD (about 15 minutes walk) and Uni (about 20 minutes walk) but in a quiet (no through road) bush setting. Those who like to be close to nature will appreciate the abundant bird life wallabies and possums that visit. Other features of the house include private spaces to escape to (front and rear decks) a big screen LCD TV great stereo (tuned to JJJ + plenty of CDs to play) and a well equipped kitchen. Theres also a bath to float in a great view to enjoy and off street parking for one vehicle. The house owner loves to cook and you can expect quite a few gourmet night time meals cooked for you. Wine lovers will also appreciate a steady supply of samples for appraisal. Whilst not being a party house its a social one (known by my friends as the Chteau Gav). Your housemates will be 41 year old male house owner and a 38 year old female professional housemate and were both straight green atheists. Were happy sharing caring tolerant clean people and we would appreciate these attributes in you and your visiting friends and relatives. For your guests theres a fold out double bed lounge for overnight stays. Our previous housemate has been poached back to a mainland work position and she left yesterday morning (16th August) as a close friend. The Chteau now awaits for you to be its next happy occupant!
