Im looking for a flatmate to share this Great Modern townhouse in Brunswick This great modern place is ideally located between Sydney Road and Lygon Street – close to the CBD with a short walking distance to tram stops on Sydney Road and Lygon Street Train station on Albert Street and with buses nearby. Its also close to cafes and shops on Sydney Road and Lygon Street Major supermarkets Coles and Safeway are close by. Gyms and all amenaties…The place has both upstairs and downstairs living spaces. The room available is downstairs adjacent to the bathroom – theres a built in desk and office space downstairs and a living room that also backs on to a stunning courtyard. As well as a garage which I use for my bicycle and Vespa so there is plenty of storage space or room for a car with the added bonus of a remote for the garage. theres a separate laundry and the place is alarmed if your concerned about security. This bedroom looks out to a stunning courtyard downstairs. The room is next to the downstairs bathroom which would be for your own use as the upstairs room has a full ensuite. The room has loads of storage space with a three door built in wardrobe with built in draws and hanging space. its newly carpeted and very modern with built in new gas heating unit. The kitchen (which is upstairs – different but it seems to work) is very modern and great for entertaining or if you enjoy spending time in the kitchen. There is also a great balcony off the upstairs living room. The place is furnished but there may be some space for more or alternatively there is plenty of storage space in the garage.Id prefer a flat mate who is friendly and social and would enjoy having a chat and not someone who locks themselves in their room but is also independant and respects personal space.A bit about me: my names Liz Im 28 and looking for someone to share my great new place in Brunswick.I am originally from Sydney (but moved to Melbourne over 3 years ago because I prefer it to Sydney ;-0) I work full time in the city (usually 9-5 ocassionally later) for the government – Department of Environment – which means I get to fight fires in summer (sounds nerdy and it slightly is in a good way so I hope you wont hold it against me) My job does mean I have spare time to spend enjoying non work things. So outside of work I like most people enjoy socialising on weeknights and weekends with friends. I usually catch up with friends at the pub over dinner or brunch heading to gigs or whatever else comes up- it doesnt always involve drinking but I do like to have fun and chat – (not in an annoying way).I enjoy travelling – its been a while since Ive been on a trip but am planning to head to India and Nepal in September/ October – and I enoy the outdoors hiking riding my bicycle longer distance trips on my Vespa I am happy to try most things and I also play netball socially during the week.
