Situated in the beautiful Yarra Valley, this self contained 3 bedroom cottage on 24 acres has mountain views including the picturesque Mt Donna Buang.
Romany Park Cottage is set on 24 acres and surrounded by farms, orchards and wineries and backs onto secluded state forest bush tracks. You can walk or ride for miles on these roads without seeing another person, only the chatter and calls of the birds to intrude on your thoughts. We have visiting kangaroos on a regular basis, occasionally a koala and quite often wombats and possums by night.
Many years ago the property was an orchard and poultry farm. Over the years most of the orchard has been removed as the property changed hands. There are still several fig trees, apples, plums, lemons, oranges, pears and persimmons, remaining, and more recently chestnut trees. At present Romany Park is home to the Yarradene Arabians Horse Stud, breeders of quality Anglo and Derivative Arabians.
