When I went to view this home I immediately thought of Gone With The Wind (well, a mini version).

Although it is an older styled home inside, it has the ‘feeling’ of grandness. The gardens are absolutely lovely with roses everywhere, room for a vegetable patch, fantastic fruit trees and a gigantic frangipani. The pictures don’t do it any justice at all and if this sounds like the home for you and your family then you must have a look.

The compact but adequate kitchen is part of a longer room that gives itself for a ‘breakfast room’ or small sitting room/coffee room. Also leading from the kitchen is a very big formal dining room or lounge, which also leads on to another large formal lounge with a little patio area through sliding doors overlooking the front rose garden.

Then on to a small laundry, a master bedroom and a single bedroom, and bathroom. That’s the ground floor.

Upstairs (with separate entry if preferred) is a lounge, kitchen, large bedroom with a balcony that looks towards the river and overlooks the beautiful back garden and another bathroom – this could be called a self contained granny flat or it could be a teenage retreat or parents retreat.

All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes.

There is an enormous shed/garage and nice long driveway.

The location of this home is even better than the house itself which is just two roads back from the river and a hop skip and a jump away from Deep Water Point.
