Some comments from the owners:
There are a number of features that make the house very easy to like. It is one of the warmest houses I’ve lived in Canberra, a major benefit during cold winters like the one just passed. The double glazing throughout is wonderful. The full-house air conditioning makes it cool in summer, but the windows are arranged to catch the evening easterly breeze so passive cooling is easy.

The garden is an oasis, rhododendrons and azaleas are magnificent in spring, and the lemon trees produce superb fruit. The birdlife is all around: rosellas, king parrots, gang-gangs, and the local Bowerbird, among many others. The automatic watering system can be switched over to the 10,000 litre rainwater tank in times of water restriction, so the garden is never stressed.

The kitchen works brilliantly, everything in easy reach.

There’s plenty of off-street parking with two driveways, and the main garage has plenty of space for a small workshop.

The internet speed is excellent: the iiNet Transact cable provides a consistent 75 Mbps as standard, but the NBN node is also just across the street as an alternative.

Another excellent feature is the loads of storage space: you can find somewhere to store pretty well anything you need…
