This is not for those that want to be close to civilisation. This place is “out there” – but it’s not hard to get there (you don’t need a 4×4, just a normal car). And, there’s a neighbour close by for company if you like anyway!

But it’s a 30km drive on gravel road through State Forest to get there – to this magical valley in the middle of the mountains where once old-time settlers use to farm and do everything by hand. You can feel the history in the place when you get there.

Yes, this land is farmable – you could be self-sufficient out here. Yes, you could live here permanently and get away from modern day life (just like the neighbours have and just like many others before you).

The land is farmable: being 70% cleared it is the perfect blend of rich creeks, undulating hills and timbered ridges.
But, you had better love nature, mountains, fresh water, hard work and a whole lot of adventure.

Oh yeah, this is natures play ground. Not far away are some iconic mountains to explore (“Banda Banda” is one). And, there’s 1000′s of acres of State Forest and National Park all around you. You can go horse riding, motor biking, hiking or 4×4 driving for as long as you like.

The owner has built a contemporary brick cottage – it’s small but it’s perfect. It’s was built to be fire-proof (there’s no timber in it what-so-ever). The home is powered by a generator & gas (but of course you can connect solar if you like).

Folks, this magical mountain getaway is 1hrs drive west of Kempsey – for the slow drivers you could add another 15minutes. It’s a beautiful drive through big forests but like I said, if you don’t like remoteness than this place is not for you.

Give me a call any day/anytime to have a chat.
