LOCATION :
Tumbulgum ( or some say ‘Tumblegum’ ) is less than 20 minutes from Coolangatta & 15 minutes South of Tweed Heads.
It is a small village & friendly community shared by less than 300 residents. It offers, 2 coffee shops, general store, gallery & the highly acclaimed Tumbulgum Tavern which has been serving great food and cold beers since 1895.
Gray St is right in the heart of the village where the General Store is – this property is less than 100m on the left, corner of Bawden St.
Tumbulgum also has a public boat ramp & pontoon ( 200m from your front door ), public tennis courts, soccer club, primary school & town hall which has regular dancing and weekly pre school activities.
The foreshore provides BBQ areas & picnic tables all set under canopies of flowering Jacarandas.
The Tweed river offers miles of calm waterways ( brackish being salt / fresh water ) from the Seaway to the North right down to Murwillumbah to the South - it is perfect for any water activity whether bare footing, wakeboarding, skiing, fishing or even canoeing. A trip to the sandy banks near the seaway is a must !
AGENTS COMMENTS :
It is a fact there is no short term accommodation ( apart from permanent residents ) within Tumbulgum village – which is surprising given the sheer enjoyment the glorious Tweed River offers skiers, wake boarders & fishermen alike.
Therefore if you did wish to holiday lease when you are not using then this could be a great investment as well – a permanent tenancy would also be positive.

This property whilst not huge in stature, provides a low maintenance abode for either your private ‘ weekend getaway ‘ or full time abode – the choice is simply yours with or without a boat !
