The old National Bank on the corner of Sinclair and Richmond Streets in Wardell is an iconic building that has been beautifully preserved with original windows, timbers and fittings.

Established in 1920, the bank is now 90 years old. The 14′ ceilings would have many a tale to tell. Complete with teak floors, cedar panels and silky oak fittings from another era, the bank would make a unique residence, holiday home or retail/eatery outlet (subject to council approval). The vault still has the original locks and keys!

The property is currently approved as a residence and is not heritage listed.

Patches Beach is less than 6 kilometres and Ballina is 15 kilometres. The jetty to the beautiful Richmond River is just a 50 metre walk.

A perfect holiday home ‘the bank’ is one of a kind.
