Yeoval is a small village in the Central Western district of New South Wales, Australia. The town lies in Cabonne Shire Council, however a small part lies over Buckinbah Creek in Wellington Shire which is referred to as North Yeoval. The closest major regional centre is Dubbo being approx 65km away to the West and Orange being approx 75km to the East. At the 2006 census, Yeoval had a population of 292.The town was the childhood home of Australian poet Banjo Paterson, who lived on the nearby Buckinbah property, and as such the town reaps the rewards of the history of this iconic poet with events that attract many tourists such as the Mulga Bill Festival. The Masonic Lodge Hall is situated at 43 Forbes Street Yeoval which is the man street of Yeoval.
