Let me introduce myself. I am a charming home and am dearly loved by my owners, but their move away from Brisbane has left me looking for some-one new.
Having been built around the 1870′s I am surrounded by classic historical homes and the fact that I am an easy walk to the Queen Street Mall is only one of the many things that makes me so appealing.
Petrie terrace was one of Brisbane’s first suburbs. It is surrounded by Spring Hill, Red Hill, Paddington , and Brisbane CBD and is home to the Suncorp stadium and the vibrant ‘Barracks’ cafe and shopping precinct .
I have been renovated and extended to offer ample room to move. I have three well-sized bedrooms, two living areas, and three veranda’s. Upstairs, the main and second bedrooms open through French doors to a balcony. Also upstairs is a study overlooking the private rear yard and a sun filled living area which flows onto the rear deck. Many of my original features are evident here with original floor boards and panelling adding to my character and sense of history.
Downstairs is the third bedroom or home office and a generous open living room and dining area. The classic timber kitchen leads out onto the rear outdoor area via French doors.
Extra features I offer include air-conditioning and heating to provide all year round comfort, front balconies both top and bottom that enjoy the northerly aspect, off-street parking and gas mains connection.
I offer a rich and easy lifestyle with the fine restaurants and shopping of Petrie Terrace’s own Caxton Street and Barracks precincts or in the neighbouring Paddington and Red Hill areas, only a short walk away. Brisbane’s finest public and private schools are around the corner, and the Roma Street Parklands are a 5 minute stroll. Come and meet me and, like my current owners, you may find that you rarely use your car again.
