If you are like me and love things out of the ordinary, then you will love this week-end set up on 40 acres (16 ha).

Nice and private, underneath a massive steel framed shed roof is an 11.6m x 7.7m deck set up off the ground with steel posts and footings. On one side of the deck is a caravan which contains a bedroom, kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Another caravan is off another side of the deck which is the office or could be another bedroom and the third side of the deck has a shipping container which is another bedroom.

The deck itself is used as a living area with a gas stove, slow combustion wood heater, laundry, dining area and lounge.

Power is supplied by a 1.8kw solar system. Hot water is solar and rainwater collection is approx. 4,000 gallons. Water is pumped from the tank to a header tank and gravity feeds to taps.

The house yard is fully fenced and lovely with a variety of fruit trees. There is a shadehouse raised garden beds and a chook pen. Another caravan within the house yard provides a bed for extra guests/family.

Underroof is a shipping container used for lockable storage plus room to park the car as well as your tinny/mower etc. With a workshop off this, there is also a garden shed.

Ranging between approx. 39m & 47m above sea level, an easy walk from the dwelling is a dam from which water is pumped to irrigate the gardens and the shadehouse.

For those who love fishing and crabbing, you have 2 boat ramps on tidal Baffle Creek and a boat ramp on tidal Deepwater Creek to choose from. You also have Wreck Rock Beach or Rules Beach both about a 20 minute drive. Agnes Water/1770 can also be accessed through the Deepwater National Park which divides Deepwater from Agnes Water.

If you decided to live here, mail can be delivered 5 days a week and children can catch the school bus to either primary or high school. Rates are approx. $950.00 per year.

Approx. distances: Baffle Creek facilities 23km, Bundaberg 109km, Agnes Water 76km, Gladstone 138km.

Copy and paste these co-ordinates 24 24 49.18 s 151 54 07.92 e into google earth to look at the property and area by satellite. An image showing boundaries, other relevant maps along with a good map of the area can be emailed if you would like to contact me.

Well known for good fishing, crabbing and prawns, Baffle Creek is an undiscovered area and thus quiet and peaceful. Bitumen roads from north or south, most of our blocks are 40 acres or larger which helps ensure your privacy. Crocodile & box jellyfish free, there are 4 tidal waterways and beautiful unspoilt beaches. Add a sub-tropical climate to all this and what do you have – paradise :)
