Some of the history of The South Pacific…
The South Pacific Lounge If you can picture the perfect bar, on a sunkissed beach, this would be it! The South Pacific Lounge is a 44 square metre oasis made of grass thatched roofing, Australian Hardwood and bamboo railings. Its a perfect outdoor living area and an entertainers delight.
Peles Pond Pele, the Goddess of Fire lives in the Hawaiian Islands and warms the thermal baths found throughout Hawaii. Here at The South Pacific Peles Pond is an eight person (often more!) in-ground concrete spa bath. Its perfect for a hot summer day or during winter, turn on the gas heater and have a warm spa bath to ward off the chills.
The MaLulu Retreat A space for lovers… Or for Lovers of space! The MaLulu Retreat is a freestanding all-weather bamboo structure featuring a queen size bed. Its the perfect place to kick back and read a book, take an afternoon nap, or in some cases have a sleepout overnight!
Sunshine Shack Quietly tucked away in the gardens featuring recycled french doors and windows recovered from an original 1960s Gold Coast beach house, the Sunshine Shack is a breezy work space for artists, craftsmen or the home handyman. Extensive use of windows allows for breezes to move through the shack while it also is shaded from the sun by the adjacent palm trees.
The Tahitian Trail Follow The Tahitian Trail as it gently winds its way through the tropical gardens with birds of paradise, hibiscus, frangipanis, ferns and 35 foot high palm trees before eventually bringing you and your visitors to The South Pacific Lounge.
If youre curious, come for a look. Youll soon understand why we call it paradise!
