A suburb with a great family atmosphere and only 30 minutes from Brisbane. Redbank is a sprawling suburb that’s surrounded by farm and bushland. But there’s no sense of being on the edge of town here, with a major shopping centre, medical facilities, schools and great recreational facilities already exist, including golf courses Brookwater Golf Course, Wolston Park Golf Course and Gailes Golf Club, pony clubs, two public libraries, sports fields and an indoor sports venue Redbank Collingwood Park Sports Complex. This is a nicely treed area with good residential enclaves and lifestyle acreage. Units and townhouses are in limited supply, but duplexes offer alternative low maintenance living. Most homes tend to be low-set and constructed of brick, with architectural styles reflecting the suburb’s recent growth spurt. The suburb is favoured by commuters, as there’s easy access to the Ipswich Motorway and the Goodna train station is close at hand. There are two shopping complexes, a primary and a high school, as well as facilities in the neighbouring suburbs of Brookwater and Collingwood Park.
