Two properties exist at 69 Banksia Av (DUPLEX). Both are independent of each other, however, share the one driveway. Each Villa has it’s own Double Carport, and this is where the properties are joined (they do not share a common wall).

The living spaces are designed for nature ventilated and light. The buildings breathe, and they are energy efficient. The hardwood timber screens on the north and west aspect of each unit create a comfortable environment inside and a striking visual feature outside.

The design aims to balance the use of Australian materials in the building construction that are also relevant to this coastal tropical environment. The building design uses the clean lines of Fibre Cement board and concrete, they are contrasted by the textures of Colorbond and Australian Spotted Gum hardwood timber.
