I have personally lived in the area for 25 years and there are not many places on earth that have all the facilities available within walking distance.
This area has a small community feel to it and is walking distance to the Maroochy Bowls Club, Maroochy Surf club, Cotton Tree Olympic Pool, Medical Centres, Cotton Tree Tennis Courts, Maroochy Library, Maroochy RSL and cafes and restaurants as well as Cotton Tree’s own unique shopping centre.
There is really no need to leave Cotton Tree as everything needed is at your fingertips such as the Sunshine Plaza and Cinema that are only a short walk away. A bikeway/walkway of 97 km from Tewantin to Caloundra is virtually at your front door and follows the beach all the way. One of my favourite walks is from Cotton Tree to Mooloolaba via Alexandra Headland either on a beachfront pathway or on the beach. We also have Cotton Tree Park that is fantastic for recreation and BBQ’s or fishing along the River.
Feel energetic? Grab your surf board and have a short stroll to Maroochydore patrolled and surf beach.
After 25 years, Cotton Tree has not lost it’s small community feel, yet is close to all amenities. Ideally this is the perfect unit to downsize to if you have that big house that needs lots of maintenance and requires lots of driving.
