You didn’t think you could afford a holiday house, did you? Well, check this out! It’s the sort of shack you will sit around playing board games and talking for hours and the kids will giggle and rehearse made up plays and then come out and perform them for you. Yep, like when we were kids.
Being offered walk-in-walk-out, like time has stood still for the last 60 years, you are getting a real slice of authentic old fashioned county living, as your grandparents did it. Unplug your kids iPads (assure them Pokmon and Minecraft will still be there when they are returned), hand them a fishing rod and book and get ready for some family time, Old School.
Featuring three bedrooms and a kitchen/dining/living area combined, or two bedrooms and have a separate lounge if you don’t need so much accommodation. The bathroom is out the back off the porch and features a bath and vanity and the flushable toilet outhouse is a little further out the back!
Pioneer is on tank water and septic waste. Various rustic outbuildings are on site including a double carport and lock up workshop.
Pioneer is the gateway town to the NE beaches of Musselroe Bay and Ansons Bay, a mecca for trout fishing and water sports on the Pioneer Dam and the Ringarooma River. Tourism is booming in North East Tasmania with Blue Derby mountain bike trails, Barnbougle and Lost Farm golf courses and the numerous wine and gourmet delights we are now known for. This is a great place to have a weekender. The area is also known for gem fossicking, so don’t forget to bring your pan. At this price a few good finds could pay the place off!
