At the end of a day’s trout fishing or when you’re winding down from hunting deer you can sit back and enjoy the comforts of this warm, cozy hut in it’s peaceful, quiet corner of Tasmania’s majestic highlands. The fully insulated hut is warmed by a wood heater, it is off the grid and the block has hundreds of tonnes of firewood at hand. Deer are regular visitors and wild Tasmanian trout are there for your competition in the many lakes and lagoons that lie within a few minutes drive. (Bronte Lagoon, Dee Lagoon, Bradys Lake, Lake Binny, Woodwards Canal are all just a few minutes away)
The hut is well equipped with gas cooking. Lighting and power are supplied by an on-site generator. Extra accommodation is available in the old caravan that sits beside the hut. The hut is offered WIWO with furnishings, mattresses, cookware etc, All you’ll require is the front door key, bed linen, your groceries and your fishing tackle.
The hut sits on a privately situated natural terrace that is approached by a good all weather track. Sweeping views over Bronte Lagoon and stunning sunsets will be yours to enjoy from this peaceful vantage point.
