Tunbridge Wells Inn c1825 is the oldest stone former licensed inn on record in the Midlands, built by Thomas Fleming who was transported from England in 1821. The inn served travellers who came on horseback and coach between Hobart and Launceston until 1841. The present owners have lovingly restored this historic old colonial Georgian single storey building.
