We are not all lucky enough to live near the sea but a love of the ocean and the beachside lifestyle is strong in most of us.
Life is so much better at the beach!
This stunning beach home is located in Weymouth, the quintessential beach town on the north coast of Tasmania and all located just a short drive from the picturesque city of Launceston.
The scenic drive from Launceston is part of the attraction, especially when you hit the stunning views over the Tamar Valley through to the famous viticulture and wine regions and then on through the forest of looming native foliage. The city life fast becomes a distant memory.
Weymouth has been a long-time favourite sea change and vacation spot for many interstate and local guests. The town beautifully merges into surrounding bushland whilst overlooking the mesmerising Bass Straight and the stunning Piper’s Rivulet.
This tranquil “800 words” style beach home is extremely well located on all counts. It’s almost like living on an island. The 2-3 bedroom house provides comfort and peace and it’s quite spaciously thought out, it also maintains an informality where nothing is too important that you cannot relax.
The scheme is simple with a Zen-like peacefulness.
The master bedroom is immediately relaxing it is a light space where you will be greeted everyday with the brightness and dazzling blue skies that are reflected of the ocean. It will captivate you and really refresh the soul!.
The open plan informal kitchen and dining room ensures that even if you cook whilst at the beach it’s hardly a chore with the coastal skyline and the sound of waves crashing as your culinary backdrop and soundtrack.
The home offers a spacious lounge with french doors that open out onto yet another outdoor dining area where large gatherings of family and friends often spill out to enjoy the pristine views.
The Weymouth area itself is located close to the Tam O ‘Shanter golf course which is very popular with both locals and tourists alike as it brings the community together for socialising and great food at the course restaurant. Weymouth also has a well-stocked corner store and is located within just a short drive to the township of Bridport with a small cluster of shops including the chemist, supermarket, hairdresser, hotel & bottle shop facilities, restaurants, coffee shops and many more beachside delights.
