Rarely do I find an older house that has the wow factor, but this quaint cottage in PINGELLY did it for me, I could visualize this home decked out in period furniture and just looking an absolute treat. Although it has been extended it does not give that appearance, it has been done in such a way as to keep the authenticity intact, it looks fabulous outside with the window awnings, large rear deck and verandah, front garden and entry porch, it just gives that feel of bygone days. Inside, the time lock continues with polished floor boards throughout, ornate fire places in bedrooms and lounge, clever wall papering and paint selection to enhance the period decor, natural timber doors and so much more. The kitchen is modest and blends with the period of the home, the bathroom also matches with an ornate window and tiling. There are two adjoining blocks. The property is quite extensively treed with very mature plants and provides a real bush feel to the property, sitting out on the rear deck looking across the property you could almost imagine being in a rural setting and not in suburbia. I will be surprised if the first person I show this home to doesn’t fall in love with it.
