Even though it is happy with where it sat, amongst tall and shady established gumtrees and lush lawn, in a quiet street that felt a million miles away from any hustle bustle stress, the home felt like it was missing something.

Then the owners ripped out the old and put in brand new fittings, a splash of paint and the home started to really sparkle.

A new kitchen was designed and installed and the bathroom was made brand new again. The kitchen matching the beautiful polished floorboards of the dining area with the rich wood toned cabinets, frosted glass front display cabinets, modern stainless steel appliances, and a decadent touch of elegant black bench tops and tiled splashbacks.

A set of timber double French doors were installed as a backdrop to the dining room, allowing the future addition of a beaut deck leading from the raised rear vista overlooking the yard.

The bathroom was made brand new, with a sleek white modern vanity in a double size, a bright white extra deep bath, and a separate glass shower cubicle.

The formal lounge room was given a hearty cinnamon feature wall, to match the warmth of the recessed wood fire and shaggy pile carpet.

Even the three generous queen sized bedrooms were given a fresh new coat of paint in sophisticated neutral tones.

The owners sat back and marvelled at what they had achieved,

So, they donned their renovator’s hats once more and created a new opening between the formal lounge, kitchen and dining area, filling the old doorway to creating a layout akin to a newly built home, and giving the little abode a new lease on life.

Then they set out into the garden, placing structured plants at intervals to create a simple, earthy toned foliage backdrop to the home to accompany the existing trees and lawn carpet.

They even made special raised hardwood planter boxes in the back yard, to break up the generous lawn space and make a wonderful home for edible gardens that will make the home an even happier place.

It made the yard, which was set between limestone and steel retained fencing, the
garage / workshop, and canopy of trees, a place to really enjoy.

The little home felt very happy indeed.

It felt very smart in its new outfit, and was ready for a fresh start in life.

So now, ready for the start of the next chapter, this happy home can offer a happily ever after to one clever buyer.
