We cannot glam it up. This cottage was originally built around 1937 but if you are good with the tools it may just be the one for you!
The positives are the generous 1,012m2 level block of land sitting virtually on the high point of Somerville Street with rear lane access. A brand new house has just been built next door which speaks highly for the land value.
We could go downhill from here, the verandah floor boards have had it, the stumps are not so good, there is asbestos here and there and the fences are old.
But on a positive note to finish, the tin roof and wall cladding looks okay, there is power, deep sewerage is connected, water is running, a sola hot-water system, a split air-conditioner in the living and high ceilings. The shed is a reasonable size and has a steel frame, the walls and roof are asbestos.
As Luigi once said, I am not fancy but I am cheap!
