This contemporary house has been designed to make the most of the large, well situated block and northern aspect. The aesthetic is very much that of a designer gallery, with massive spaces and quality finishes.
The front section is a single storey and has the master suite which includes a walk-in robe and ensuite lined with honed Spanish limestone.
The bedroom has bi-fold doors which open to a big courtyard, with olive trees and a spectacular water feature. In winter, northern light floods the bedroom.
The courtyard acts as an outdoor room. The mature olive trees provide shade, the bedroom is to the south, the kitchen to the north, the gallery area to the east, and the water feature to the west.
The main pavilion of the house is two storeys and has the kitchen and the spacious open plan living/dining areas on the ground floor. There are two additional bedrooms, a bathroom, study and TV alcove upstairs.
The northern wall of the house is two storeys of energy-efficient glass. The bottom section consists of bi-fold doors which open out to a private courtyard style garden with heated plunge pool and spa.
The house’s cool palette of Spanish limestone, commercial glass, splashes of dark granite, and blue and azure glass tiles on the water feature, result in a light and tranquil space, very much a reflection of the homes proximity to the ocean.
