Mansfield’s architectural design is based on the Italian Renaissance period, showing classical details of excellent craftsmanship in sandstone, marble and cedar.

The former bank building still retains its original design features, occupying a block with a frontage of 29m by 185m deep. The present owners have established their well known catering business on the ground floor comprising the grand Mansfield Ballroom, Managers Room, Dining Room and Colonnade. The Public space is paved with the original black & white marble tiles and inticate patterned tessellated tiles. The 20ft high ceilings and rich cedar joinery are a stunning feature of these commercial function spaces.
