Established in 1973, Arrowfield is situated in beautiful undulating Upper Hunter Valley country. Located 9 kms West of Jerry’s Plains village, 23 kms South of Muswellbrook and 20 kms East of Denman, Arrowfield is positioned within an “amphitheatre” facing North East totalling 129.7 Hectares.
The Winery has approx. 2,500 tonne crush capacity.

Plantings range from 1993-2007 with an average 3/4 tonnes/ha as desirable. The soils are mostley chocolate clay loams over clay, well drained and have excellent water and air drainage.

The Hunter River provides water via a registered easement across Coolmore Stud. The river pump is a 55KW electric meter and SX 100×65 pump. Two additional pumps provide extra staged pressure for the higher areas. A third pump feeds 5 X 90,000 litre concrete tanks for the buildings. Water allocation is described as 100 High Security Shares irrigation water from Hunter River (Note: a further 259 High Security shares are available)
