The Main Building

Mud brick construction with a cement floor and paved verandah on four sides. It comprises a lounge/dining room with an open fire and kitchen, separate male and female toilet facilities, each with three showers and two toilets, a store room and an office. It can accommodate 54 people (5 rooms x 6 bunks, and 2 rooms x 12 bunks). A large open timber deck in front of the building overlooks the grounds.

The Self-Contained Cabin

This one bedroom cabin offers three bunks, a combined kitchen/meals area and a bathroom with toilet, shower and vanity. There is a front awning covering the outdoor sitting area. There is scope to add more cabins if desired.

Fully Enclosed High Top Shed

This is a fully insulated 12m x 8m shed with two roller doors, power, and a personal access door. At one end of the shed there is a bunk room with awning comprising 4 bunks and a bathroom.

Kitchen and Dining Shed

This open shed houses the kitchen/dining area with a cement floor measuring 8m x 8m including a bbq, sink and gas connection. There is also a lock-up area for equipment.

Barrington River Lodge provides a great launching pad to access:

i. the world heritage listed Barrington Tops which are 45 minutes drive away

ii. beautiful beaches of the mid-north coast

iii. the Barrington River for swimming, fishing and kayaking

The property is perfectly located to tap into both the Sydney and Newcastle markets. It is situated on the mid north coast, just 12.5km from the beautiful town of Gloucester and is accessed via a tar sealed road. Gloucester is 230km north of Wahroonga (Sydney) via the M1 motorway, an easy 3 hour drive.
