A real piece of local history “Emoh” (Circa 1840) is mostly original sandstone construction with a Western Red Cedar extension. Thought to have been built with the use of convicts during the construction of the Great Western Highway.
The homestead was built in the 1840′s and was a very early store on Mitchell’s Great Western Highway for over 100 years being the local store of South Bowenfels in the 19th Century, gaining local social significance.
This grand old residence sits on 4.85 Hectares of grazing land with town water and one dam. The floorplan features 2 living areas, feature sandstone walls, 4 bedrooms, timber kitchen and a huge underhouse basement area.
