Bushland Tourist Park is located on a 5 acre property in Windeyer, bordered by Long Creek, which winds its way through the rolling hills and gold fields of Central NSW. Nestled in a beautiful valley 40km south-west of Mudgee, Windeyer is steeped in history – some of the world’s best superfine wool comes from this district. The heritage listed 1911 Windeyer Hotel still operates from directly next door to the Bushland Tourist Park. There is a fossicking area adjacent to the hotel on Long Creek and adjacent to the Meroo Creek Bridge on the Mudgee side of the village. Windeyer is 30 minutes from Mudgee and its award winning wineries and vineyards, and 4 hours from Sydney and Newcastle.

Bushland Tourist Park is a picturesque and easy to operate park, providing guests with the ideal base camp from which to explore the captivating Cudgegong region. Whether it be the wineries, boutique shopping and vibrant arts community of Mudgee, those in search of gold with excellent fossicking on offer, or those who want to experience the stunning natural heritage of the area, there is an abundance of opportunity for all comers.

With a local fossicking tour guide, there is ample opportunity to market to fossickers with accommodation, use of the function hall and tours a great package option for families, schools and individuals. While there is currently no online reservation system available, one could easily be integrated into the current business model to capture wider audiences and increase revenue.
The Function Hall, located at the front of the park, was built in 1912 and is ideal for weddings, family gatherings, parties, movie nights and performances. Featuring a large open fire place, kitchen, drop down projector screen and stage, the space has the potential to increase revenue through in house events as well as support space to large group accommodation.

The accommodation at the park includes a variety of cabins, a two bedroom cottage and a bedroom train carriage, as well as thirty unpowered and thirty powered sites.
