I love that statement; roughly translated I need some work! I am one of the original shops in the area and my last owner started working on me and did a reasonably good job. I have 2 bedrooms, one of which has a walk in robe. My lounge room is spacious and I have a large Kitchen – Dining with gas cooking.
My bathroom is good with the laundry just outside the bathroom.

Then there is the shop side of me. It is mostly original and has a beautiful bay window, which would be perfect to build into a great little business. This side needs a lot of work, however, you have the renovated side of me to live in while you do that.

I had my roof replaced about 15 years ago and it still looks brand new. I am on a large block of land and I have a barn, chook pen and a shed attached to the house.

I am situated in the small village of Stuart Town, a small rural service center in Central NSW, is an old Gold Mining town – 55kms north of Orange on Burrendong Way, 48 km from Molong via Euchareena Road and Burrendong Way and 34kms south of Wellington on Burrendong Way.
Today, sheep, wool, cattle, and orchards are the major enterprises – the area has a reputation for its perfect peaches.

Lake Burrendong and Mookerawa Lake are a short drive.
In its gold mining days, beginning in the 1870s, Stuart Town and nearby Mookerawa were thriving communities of miners and gold seekers. An unconfirmed report states that at the peak of the mining, the population reached 6,000 persons with a mixed population of European and Chinese.
Most mining had ceased by 1914. As with other gold mining towns in Central NSW, Ben Hall the bushranger left his mark when he and his gang robbed a wine shanty at Mookerawa. The Stuart Town Common is available for fossicking with some gold being found in recent years.
