Uardry, well known for its Merino stud is regarded as one of the most influential and significant pastoral holdings in Australia, having operated successfully since 1864. Covering approximately 34,618 hectares (85,543 acres) Uardry offers scale and diversity operated under a solid management model.

Uardry has produced seed stock for the Merino sheep industry both on a national and international stage with exports to many international destinations.

Uardry generally carries 25,000 sheep, 1,000 to 1,500 cattle and crops in the region of 1,700 hectares of developed irrigation country.

The stud has been immortalised by producing the Hallmark Ram that featured on the Shilling from 1938 up to the decimal currency changeover in 1966 and on the 50 cent coin in 1991 and has been reproduced for special currency occasions in 2011.

The fact that a government utilised a Uardry ram on its currency demonstrates the impact Uardy has had on Australia and the merino industry.

The Uardry brand is both nationally and internationally recognised within the sheep and wool industry having exported rams and its unique genetics together with its wool to many countries.
Uardry has only had three owners since 1864 for the past 38 years Uardry has been owned by the Black Family which is a testament to the quality of this offering.
