A further 973 hectares of contour rice fields is also located in this area and more recently 333 hectares has been developed to three irrigated pasture bays. “Ravensworth East” (Glen Hope”)
This property is located to the east of the main “Ravensworth” holding and about 40 kilometres west of Hay on the southern side of the Sturt Highway. The property originally was part of a larger holding. The irrigation channel supplying “Ravensworth East” comes generally from the northeast at a pump site adjacent to the Murrumbidgee River then south to the highway and then to the west along the Sturt Highway into the subject property.

“Ravensworth” (“Waimea”)
This portion has a common boundary with the “Ravensworth East” main supply irrigation channel and provides the property with a further 3 kilometres of Sturt Highway frontage.

The main supply channel to”Ravensworth East” is commonly referred to as the “Glen Hope” supply channel. This channel runs from the Murrumbidgee River approximately 8 km. north of the “Ravensworth East” irrigation infrastructure and crosses the Sturt Highway, with twin inverted siphons of approximately 950 mm and a new 1,500 mm diameter pipe installed under the highway to ensure an adequate water flow to the “Ravensworth East” irrigation infrastructure.

“East Farm” River Pumps
Pumps and motors have all been serviced and re-built or replaced as necessary. The site has three phase electricity supply.

Pump 1
500 mm Chinese pump powered by Teco three phase 90 hp induction electric motor, Serial No. C10289/2. Capacity is around 50 ML/day.

Pump 2
500 mm Chinese pump powered by model C280N, Newman three phase 125 hp induction electric motor Serial No. C280N/DC31/EB3R8. Capacity is around 55 ML/day.

Pump 3
600 mm Layne & Bowler axial flow pump fitted with Randolf right angle drive powered by 172 Caterpillar model 3306 diesel motor, Engine No 647317280, complete with 9,500 litre diesel fuel supply tank. Capacity is around 80 ML/day.

“East Farm” Tailwater
650 mm Chinese centrifugal pump powered by Cummins “Big Cam” 400 hp diesel motor, Engine No 11071999, complete with 10,000 litre fuel tank. Set on concrete slab and pumps to steel distribution chamber.

LICENCE: East Farm is offered without water licence.
