‘Krambruk’ has granite soils with approximately 300 acres for cultivation and 100 acres for pasture development via sod seeding.

Irrigation:
‘Krambruk’ has a 235ML irrigation license. Water is supplied by Backwater Creek and Paddy’s Gully and is pumped from a recently completed weir and a 45ML dam. There are an additional 4 spring fed storage dams that gravity feed into the main dam. The irrigation is fully equipped with 22 hydrants, 212 sprinklers and 2 pumps. 6” mains service the hydrants.

Feedlot:
There are eight 10m x 30m eco-shelter sheds, all with a concrete floor. Six of these sheds are fitted for the feed lotting of cattle. One houses a fully undercover set of recently erected steel cattleyards the other is utilised for hay and machinery storage. The feedlot is licensed at 550 stock units.

Improvements:
The cattleyards are fully undercover, situated at the feedlot in one of the eco-shelter sheds. They are a steel, state of the art design featuring a heavy duty air operated crush, V race and bugle shaped force. The yards are linked to the outdoor load out facilities.

Machinery and 3 stand shearing shed. Drive through storage shed for farm machinery on slab with additional storage under the raised floor of the woolshed portion.

Paddocks & Fencing:
‘Krambruk’ is fenced into 12 internal paddocks and the fencing is in good condition. ‘Krambruk’ has numerous dams and spring fed gullies.

Current management have cultivated the irrigated paddocks and harvested green chop and silage for feedlot use, as well as making and selling hay.

Private Native Forestry Agreement (PNF)
The property also comprises a licensed PNF. Current management estimates the possibility of harvesting ‘A’ grade mill logs in 4 to 5 years time.

‘Krambruk’ has the capacity to service a range of intensive farming operations.
